Herd Welcomes 5 New Joiners in September!

September 30, 2026

We're absolutely chuffed to announce seven new starters from the month of September - Chethana Siddappa, Glen Docherty, Hugh Hackney, Marilyn Scott, Mercy Agorh, Tom Richardson, and Zac Smith!

💡 Chethana joined us as a Consultant Business Analyst, and has over 12 years of experience in Business Analysis across financial services, insurance and digital transformation. She is experienced in working across the full business analysis lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through to solution design, testing and delivery. Chethana has a strong technical background, with experience across digital platforms, APIs, system integrations, workflow and cloud-based solutions, and has worked closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, architects, developers and QA teams across Agile and Waterfall environments. She has extensive experience in insurance, including claims, underwriting, policy management and London Market insurance, alongside earlier experience in banking and technology, and has also worked with data and data migration as part of wider technology and transformation programmes, particularly where it supports business processes and system integration.

☕️ Chethana lives in Liverpool with her husband and 2 daughters. At the moment, she is focusing on her daughter’s 11+ exams preparation. Chethana enjoys cooking for her family & friends. She loves coffee and belongs to a family who grows coffee for living. Chethana (on & off) plays a classical instrument called Veena but now enjoys more going to concerts and passing her classical art form of singing & dancing to her kids.

🪢 Glen is a Senior Consultant Delivery Manager, who has extensive experience delivering complex digital, technology and business change across a range of organisations and sectors. He thrives on bringing clarity to complexity, helping teams navigate uncertainty and creating the structure and environment teams need to deliver successful outcomes. A passionate advocate for effective delivery and collaborative ways of working, Glen enjoys supporting teams and individuals to grow, solve problems and deliver their best work. He brings a pragmatic, people-focused approach, with a particular focus on building strong relationships and making delivery feel straightforward, even when the challenge can feel like this isn’t the case!

🏃 Based in Hampshire, Glen lives with his wife, young daughter and two cats. Outside of work, he is passionate about ultra running and hiking. When not working, Glen can usually be found training for his next challenge or exploring somewhere new on foot. He also has a serious appreciation/unhealthy obsession for all things crisp-based, and firmly believes there is no such thing as too many snacks when you’re out on a long run or hike!

💻 Hugh joined us as a Junior Consultant Business Analyst, and has over four years’ experience in customer strategy and insights, working across a variety of sectors including airlines, automotive, banking and energy. Previous work has centred on building and developing customer experience programmes for clients, optimising feedback ecosystems and carrying out in-depth data analysis. He has a keen eye for detail and places great emphasis on building strong client relationships. Building on this analytical background, Hugh is now pursuing a career transition into the tech space and joins as a Junior Consultant Business Analyst. He will be working towards the BCS Business Analysis qualification.

🎵 Hugh has recently moved back to Sheffield, having been in London for the last five and a half years. He’s a huge sports fan and loves playing and watching football, golf, snooker, cricket and tennis. Hugh is also big into his music and is always on the hunt for new records to add to his collection.

💪 Marilyn is an accomplished Senior Business Analyst with over 10 years’ experience delivering complex digital, data, and operational change across government, insurance, transport, automotive, and financial services, including merchant banking. She has worked as a Lead Business Analyst, BA Line Manager, and BA Career Coach, leading discovery, feasibility studies, gap analyses, requirements engineering and traceability initiatives. She has independently led multiple initiatives spanning exploration, process optimisation, target operating model design, functional design, and supplier management. Marilyn’s approach combines analytical rigour, commercial awareness, and collaborative leadership to navigate complexity aligning with my academic background in international business, professional ethics, and sustainability.

🏺 Marilyn is based in Leeds and regularly travels to London and Manchester for both work and recreational activities, enjoying the variety that comes with a career in consulting. Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, knitting, baking, and reading, as well as discovering new music. She has a particular love for travel, art, greek mythology, and opera.

🔬 Mercy has been working as a Business Analyst consultant for over two years, primarily within the public sector, where she’s had the opportunity to contribute to a variety of digital transformation and process improvement projects. She has worked on projects such as legacy risk mitigation, large scale ITT projects, legacy system replacement and MVP development within the MOJ and provided financial process optimisation within HMRC. Mercy studied Human Bioscience at university. Like many people in the profession, she discovered Business Analysis (through a YouTube video) and hasn’t looked back since. One of the things she enjoys most about being a BA is that no two days are the same. There’s always a new challenge to solve, a process to improve or a problem to get to the root of. She says that a Business Analyst is like a good friend, they help you discover what you need, not just what you want.

🎾 Outside of work, you’ll probably find Mercy on a tennis court. She’s also a huge fan of K-dramas, and one of the things she values most is spending quality time with the amazing community of friends she’s been blessed with.

He has experience of working in both the private and public sector, along with multiple years of experience working as a Civil Servant.
