We’re chuffed to be appointed onto the G-Cloud 14 framework

As of today, Tuesday 29th October, we’re pleased to be able to share that we’ve been awarded a framework contract on the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) G-Cloud 14 framework.

G-Cloud 14 will make it easier than ever for current and potential public sector clients to engage Herd. Unlike it’s predecessor G-Cloud 13, G-Cloud 14 is direct award only. This allows Central Government departments, local authorities, arm’s-length bodies (ALBs) and Higher Education institutions to buy our services directly through the new G-Cloud catalogue, without the need to go through a lengthy and often time consuming tender process.

This will enable us to more quickly respond to our clients’ needs, making it ‘friction-free’. All G-Cloud suppliers have to under-go a strict assessment, which in turn providers buyers with confidence.

We’re enrolled onto Lot 3 (RM1557.14), which means we can provide the following services through our service catalogue:

– Business analysis: capability as a service, resource augmentation, specific one-off assignments such as business cases, process modelling, business architecture, etc. Our core-flex team enables us to provide business analyst specialists by SFIA/ DDaT level on either a one-off or volume basis.
– Discovery and Pre-Discovery: highly experienced squads, on-demand, who have been there and got the t-shirt. Whether that be pre-discovery or discovery, all aligned to the GDS Service Standard.
– Process improvement: we used best-in-breed process optimisation tooling and our in-depth experience to untangle bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and boost efficiency. Our team brings deep process improvement with Lean Agile expertise and a relentless focus on bottom-line results.
– Product delivery: capability as a service, resource augmentation, specific one-off assignments such as business cases, process modelling, business architecture, etc. Our core-flex team enables us to provide product owner and product management specialists by SFIA/ DDaT level on either a one-off or volume basis.
– Honest broker/ match maker: our Honest Broker service helps organisations find the right solutions and suppliers to their problems. Herd helps you to do the right thing. We then have an extensive network of partners who can do the thing right. We are impartial and agnostic to the best solution/supplier for you.
– Service standard training: Training on Digital Spend Control, Technology Code of Practice, Service Standard (GDS), delivery phases (discovery, alpha, beta, live, retirement). We can also operate as a long-term Departmental Assurance Lead in all Service Standard Phases and areas. Allowing our customers to work with confidence, also achieving greater agile maturity; meeting user and business needs.
– Talent Herd: Our 2-year ‘recruit-train-and-deploy’ academy that develops your future business analyst and product manager talent. We do the hiring, people management, and most importantly a ‘learning-by-doing’ academy. Our Talent Herds are different to the norm: they’re centred around highly-experienced practitioner-coaches, embedded as part of team, putting learning into practice.
